Seychelles

Seychelles consists of 115 islands that span an area of approximately 445 km from the Indian Ocean. Inside they are grouped around the 3 main islands, known as Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.

Mahé is mountainous, granite and the best known, offers more than 65 beaches – with a wonderful landscape, surrounded by mountains and green forest.

Praslin is the second largest island in the Seychelles and is home to the Valleé de Mai, a UNESCO heritage site and has beaches classified in the ranking among the 10 best in the world.

La Digue is mandatory at least a two days stay on the island, its beaches are spectacular, especially Grand Anse and Anse Source d’Argent, through which pink granite rocks are scattered.

Islands like Aldabra, one of the only pristine islands in the world, are the last stronghold of the rare “hawksbill turtle” (giant tortoises). That is why the laws of natural preservation in Seychelles are strict.

To get from one island to another, there are several means of transport, the most common being boats. The transfer between the islands in light aircraft is a must, it is already worth a trip, a beautiful view of coral reefs and the immensity of the sea becomes the main attraction.

When?
